DHS Assam Recruitment Post-Wise Details

1. Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM)

• Vacancies: 181 Posts
• Educational Qualification:
  • Completion of ANM Training from Indian Nursing Council, Assam Nursing Council or any recognized institute approved by Government of Assam.
  • Registration with  Assam Nursing Council.
  • Valid employment exchange registration in Assam.
• Pay Scale: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000/- (Grade Pay ₹6,200/-).

2. Staff Nurse

• Vacancies: 446 Posts
• Educational Qualification:
  • GNM Diploma or B.Sc (Nursing) Degree from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
  • Registration with Assam Nurses  Midwives & Health Visitors Council.
  • Valid employment exchange registration in Assam.
• Pay Scale: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000/- (Grade Pay ₹6,800/-).

3. Staff Nurse (Critical Care)

• Vacancies: 292 Posts
• Educational Qualification:
  • GNM Diploma, B.Sc (Nursing) Degree or a higher qualification from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
  • Registration with Assam Nurse Midwives & Health Visitors Council.
  • At least one year of experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
  • Valid employment exchange registration in Assam.
• Pay Scale: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000/- (Grade Pay ₹6,800/-).

Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit

As of 1st January 2024, the age criteria for candidates are as follows:

• Unreserved Category: 18–40 years
• OBC/MOBC: 18–43 years
• SC/ST: 18–45 years
• PwD: 18–50 years

2. Employment Exchange Registration

All candidates must have a valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate issued by the State of Assam.
